EAST TEXAS CORNERSTONE ASSISTANCE NETWORK WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

East Texas Cornerstone Assistance Network needed an updated and more functional website to meet their growing needs.

As a non-profit reliant on events and fundraisers, their requirements included a website with both static and dynamic content and a 4 week timeline.

I designed a responsive website and developed it with HTML, javascript and PHP code. The PHP homepage pulls the three most recent posts from a Wordpress blog linked to the site for updating the homepage about upcoming events and news. The website also includes integration with Google Analytics to help Cornerstone monitor their fundraising reach.

AYERS TRANSPORT WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Ayers Transport, a heavy haul trucking company out of Fort Worth, TX, was in need of a simple website re-design.

With mostly static content, their site requirements consisted of a hero image slider to display examples of their moves, a site that worked on all devices (responsive design), a page to display information about their company, a page for displaying their current fleet and a contact form to reach them.

To help Ayers Transport reach more customers, I created an instagram account for them and integrated the posts to their website.

Cherokee Custom Homes Branding and Website Design and Development

Cherokee Custom Homes needed a logo and web presense to compete with the ever-adapting custom home business. After years of basing his business opportunities on word-of-mouth recommendations, the owner found that it was not enough any more.

I worked with Cherokee Custom Homes to highlight their specialties through the final logo design implemented which highlights their specialization in vaulted wood ceilings with the wooden background.

The requirements for their website consisted of a gallery of their most impressive custom home projects and a way for customers to reach them for quotes on projects.

To simplify the site and allow easy access to images, the Cherokee Custom Homes site is a one-page website.

As part of the website release, I worked with Cherokee Custom Homes to expand their web presense to Houzz, Instagram and Facebook. I also integrated the site with Google Analytics and started a Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaign for the company to continue to advertise and track how their campaigns are progressing.

Hotel Kiosk Usability Test

During my User Experience class at SMU CAPE, I was tasked with designing a hotel kiosk. I chose to design the kiosk for a hotel's most common customer, a truck driver.

Below are my work samples from my User Experience class and the results from my usability testing in InVision:
